Turn your text into a crisp PNG and a reusable glyph atlas. Start with our original 5×7 bitmap font, or bring your own licensed TTF or OTF.
Choose a sample, adjust the scale, then generate your PNG and glyph atlas. Downloads appear after generation.
The checkerboard is only a preview of transparency. PNGs keep their exact pixel size; imported fonts keep their own outlines and may be antialiased.
Make a title card, a menu label or the letters for a bitmap-font workflow. Every export comes from the settings you generated.

Each original dot becomes an exact square at the chosen scale. Gap adds pixels between cells. Keep a transparent background for labels you will place over a game scene.
Use the text PNG as a finished label. Use the atlas plus CSV to locate individual glyph cells. Only unique characters from your text enter the atlas, in first-use order.
Only import fonts you own or are licensed to use for your intended project. A font being available to download does not automatically allow commercial use, redistribution or embedding. Check the license for exported images and glyph atlases.
Looking for “minecraft font ttf”? This tool provides an original bitmap design and local font import. It does not supply an official game font and is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
The original font has 7 rows and 5 columns per character. Scale 4 creates a 20 × 28 px cell before spacing. Each glyph in an atlas occupies a fixed cell, including blank margins. The space character has a blank cell too.
Imported fonts are drawn one character at a time in equal-sized cells. Kerning, ligatures, bidirectional layout and complex-script shaping are not reproduced. If your font lacks a character, your browser may show a fallback glyph; inspect every character before use.
The CSV uses UTF-8, with one row per distinct character. Coordinates start at the top-left of the exported atlas. Row and column numbers start at zero.
character, unicode: the character and its code point, such as A and U+0041. CSV quoting preserves commas and quotation marks.row, col, x, y: the cell position in the atlas and its top-left pixel coordinate.width, height: the full cell rectangle to crop, including padding for imported glyphs. These are cell bounds, not a tight ink box.advance: the original bitmap cell width or the imported font’s measured horizontal advance, without gap. The preview uses fixed cell width plus gap. For a simple monospaced game label, advance by cell width plus gap; proportional font importers may need their own baseline and bearing data.No. The original font is a set of hand-authored bitmap glyphs, exported as PNG images and a CSV map. This tool does not create or distribute TTF files. Your imported font remains on your device.
Yes. The original 5×7 glyph drawings provided by SpriteSheetMaker can be used in your personal or commercial image and game assets. You do not need attribution for those drawings. Fonts you import remain subject to their own licenses.
Export the original font at an integer scale. Use nearest-neighbor texture filtering, avoid fractional scaling, and verify your engine’s texture import settings. Imported outline fonts can have soft edges even when texture smoothing is disabled.
Downloads are cleared whenever the text or settings change so that you cannot accidentally save an old result. Generate images again. Reset also clears your imported font and restores the original example.
Text is limited to 256 Unicode code points, including spaces and line breaks. Bitmap scale is 1–32, imported font size is 8–256 px, and gap is 0–64 px. Every image must be no more than 4096 px on either side and no more than 16 million pixels in total.
Pack your finished labels and sprites together in the existing sheet maker.
